Frontline Retail Sales Consultant - University Store
Carnegie Mellon University
Provides support in the university store which sells CMU merchandise, computers, art supplies, office products and gifts. Responsibilities include greeting customers and assisting them in finding merchandise, acting as brand ambassador to provide assistance and information to visitors and community members, managing transactions at the point-of-sale, monitoring inventory levels and restocking the sales floor, providing leadership to student employees.
Distribution Center Manager
CU Book Store
Functions as the general manager of the CU Book Store Distribution Center, responsible for shipping and receiving for the CU Book Store. Supervises Warehouse personnel and manages transfer of product to the book store; maintains CMV driver’s license and monitors staff members who need CMV licenses. Works with buyers to specify order ship dates to maintain optimal levels of merchandise at the Warehouse. Planning and coordination with shipping companies to anticipate future shipments of incoming merchandise; ongoing analysis of freight company effectiveness and rates.
Communication Specialist - Auxiliary Services
Azusa Pacific University
Responsible for communicating the services provided by all departments in Auxiliary Services across a variety of platforms to the university and the surrounding communities. Detail-oriented collaborator with the ability to meet deadlines, design and create visual elements, and assist in the execution of marketing strategies of the departments. Operates as a creative problem solver and is able to develop projects from concept through production. Plays a critical support role to the Director in order to maintain the highest quality visual communications consistent with University standards.
Establishes strategic and operational goals; develops and implements new processes, standards, protocols, and operational plans to achieve strategies. Regularly leads projects and initiatives that directly impact the success of students. Requires regular communication and influence with student success stakeholders across campus, including Academics, the Provost, Financial Aid, and Scholarships, as well as Athletics, the Alumni Association, and Trademark & Licensing. Leads physical store locations, on- line store, the distribution center, and irregular selling events. Leads the planning, implementing, improving, and evaluating of the department operations; oversees budgets and forecasts.

Direct and manage the UC San Diego Bookstore main facilities including the Bookstore, Sunshine Market and Audrey’s Café. Provide leadership for the overall management of the Bookstore's retail and support operations while maintaining an organizational structure that provides sufficient staff expertise to achieve goals and implementation of strategies. Plan and manage assets to ensure profitability. Fulfill the Bookstore's purpose to provide retail services to UC San Diego and to be an academic resource that supports the academic mission of the University. Meet or exceed customer expectations and enhance productivity by streamlining internal business processes.

Coordinates system-wide modifications that impact universal webstore functions.
