The Manager maintains accurate records using the textbook management software in use by the store and performs all steps of inventory control as pertains to Course Materials, including ordering, receiving, maintaining accurate sales information, returns of unsold stock, and disposition of unsold inventory. The Course Materials Department Manager is responsible for training and supervising student assistants in departmental operations and customer service standards. As a department-level manager, this position provides operations support to store manager; provides assistance to other department managers; and supervises or assists in all store operations.

Assist in developing departmental strategic plans as well as the development and implementation of short- and medium-range objectives. Standard hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. This position will also work approximately 2 rotating weekend dates per semester.
